Doesn't look like Vincent Price. This mask was made so poorly, that it really doesn't look like any one for that matter. Looks like a glob. Only part of this face that has any definition is the hanging jawline. I remember Vincent in life, he was a great actor. He didn't look anything like this!

I'm not sure if this is a Death Mask, or a Life Mask. Whichever, it really is hard to tell it's him.

I don't think this is a death mask
This looks more like the kind of bust we would make to creat special effect prosthetics. Notice how the eyes have no detail? The eyes are usually covered by padding to protect them from the plaster. The ears are also plugged, something they would not have been concerned with in a death mask.

They still make these things? Gosh I thought they stopped doing that a long time ago.
Im doing the Thriller Dance in Houston this year and so I have his voice and laugh ringing in my head all the time.

UGH
Looks like Odo from Deep Space 9. Vincent Price deserved a better job than THIS.

Doesn't really do the man/legend any justice
Doesn't paint an accurate reflection of his very eccentric, very interesting and very macabre personality.

Death Said it Best...
"...there is no justice, there is only me". I agree with the consenus that this is a bad job, but then, Im sure he would have been amused. His legacy has captured his face for us, but it would have been nice for the job to be done well.

Vincent
I would of never known it was him a very bad piece. Not well done at all. Could this have been a mask for a movie that he had done not a real death mask?

Getting the last laugh
I'm sure he would have gotten a great laugh out of this. What a wonderful man with a wonderful sense of humor.

Obviously
as technology advances we seem to lose our touch for doing things well. Christ! Julius Cesars mask was a ton better than this one and that was before electricity.
What is wrong with us? When I get MY death mask done, I'm not hiring this guy....

I Agree
this is a terrible shame. I have an autographed picture of Vincent when he was in his mid 70's and he has so much more character to his face. This mask does not do him justice. Vincent you are one of my favorites. A gentle, humble, intelligent, talented, thoughtful, brilliant man.

Talented Actor
Vincent Price's face had more character than is shown in this photo. I have to agree with Bree. The mask simply does not reflect the man.

Poor Vincent!
Yeah, he was a cool guy. They shaved off his mustache and eyebrows! I'm sure he wouldn't be satisfied with this one. The older masks seem to have more detail.

A shame
As this mask doesn't do the man justice. He had an amazing face but the features hardly show up on this mask at all.
