Death Mask?
Are they sure this is a death mask? In death his cheeks would not be up like that even if he died with a smile. I am thinking maybe there is the possibility this mask was done while he was still alive. His face is just not relaxed like it would be in death.

It's funny, if you didn't know who this was, one might say, "How nice, he died easy, with a smile on his face." But because we know it's the Concentration camp / death squad honcho who cheated the executioner by poisoning himself, one might say--- well, it's probably not suitable for sharing on this forum!!!
